Indeed. It's also not something I'd do on *every* old rig. Some, like
the AVR-11, SP-10, and other early/interesting/scarce rigs deserve
nothing less in my opinion. But that's the good thing about it:
there's no law say I can't do it that way, and no law saying anyone
has to do it that way. If you think it's crazy, don't do it.
It's always good to mark a note somewhere inside the chassis apron
too, alerting folks that this has been done. Otherwise someone using
the shotgun assumption/approach could easily cut out all of the 'old'
caps and replace them with new Orange Drops. (o:
