[Boatanchors] Trimming replies to the list

Hi,

Well you know there are a lot of sins that simply can't be addressed in
any way or manner without those howls of wounded pride. Failing to edit
or exposing your entire contact list in the carbon copy are the tip of
the iceberg.

So is this my rant? Nope. I'm sure I miss a few things that I would have
liked to read but I go the page at a time scroll (thats a screenful at a
time page) and start watching the reposted stuff whiz by until I get
some fresh material. I have discovered that sometimes a response isn't
always in a different format and so I miss it. Too bad. The sky hasn't
fallen.

Whenever I feel a little upset about such things I just go pet my dog,
talk to the kids/grandkids/great grandkids, play with my musical
instruments - or even stoop to getting on the air <evil grin>.

I suspect each of us repost those long tails once in a while purely on
accident. No matter how careful we are, eventually Murphy will win. I
*know* that I have done it that way and immediately after hitting "send"
I said *explitive deleted*. The problem is...along with a few habitual
"offenders" there are a lot of list members each taking an occasional
turn at making that mistake. Lets not ban people for errors. Lets do try
to do it a little less often

73,

Bill KU8H
