Bill,   add cross list posting to this.  Fairly often we receive 
messages  that will be addressed to multiple individual and/or multiple 
lists.  When either grows too large the mailman program will bounce it 
into a bin for approval.  The moderator has to approve it.

That is why many list moderators have a hissy about cross posting or 
multiple names in the address field, among other reasons.  Another thing 
is the banners at the bottom of each message.  For god's sake at the 
very least, those should be deleted.
