Its performance on the higher frequencies was unspectacular due to the 
losses in the double tuned front end and obsolete 6BA6 RF amp that followed 
and the usual noisy 6BE6 mixer. The apparent customer base was not the ham 
market which demanded the highest possible sensitivity.

I wonder if it had the same 6C4 problems that the HQ's suffered?
