     There is a bit of info on this receiver on the web. 
Apparently not many were built, perhaps a couple of hundred. 
I remember when they came out; I played with one at Henry 
Radio's demonstration room. I would not say they are ugly so 
much as strange looking, I think they were supposed to look 
modern and streamlined. I suspect they are more collector's 
items than practical radios.
