Another way to ship something is to use the "hamfest express". Find a
friend who is headed to Dayton, for example, and ask them to haul it
there - then the buyer needs to find a friend near him who's also
headed to Dayton. Kick in a few bucks on each side for gas and there
you go. OK, Dayton doesn't work between Oregon & Arizona, but you get
the idea.
Personally, I really hate to see a complete old radio get parted out -
they aren't making any new Apaches, folks - please try to preserve
vintage gear if at all possible.
Speaking of which - will the guy who needs the choke please contact me
- I may have one.
