Respectfully, Mike-
 The HW single-banders are pretty minimal radios.
Hacking-in xtals, new PA grid and plate tuning circuits, bandswitches, etc.
You'll be doing a heck of a lot of work to end-up 
with a Franken-radio that's still minimal.
I think you'd do better to get a nice HW-101 
and forget about 60 meters.
