[Boatanchors] Heathkit single banders converted to 60M band

I've been looking at converting an HW-18-2 to include 60m (actually 80, 60
and 40m SSB) for EmComm service. The core design of the HW-12 & -22 is
pretty much the same as the HW-18 except for the crystal control vs. VFO bit
so I'd think the problems would be much the same.

Once the dusty has settled from this move, I think that comparing notes (or
cribbing from each other?) might be in order.

Best regards,

Has anyone converted a Heathkit single bander: HW 12A HW22A to the 60m ham
band?
Would like to hear about your experiences.
Thanks
