Who cares how many meters someone wants to put on their amplifiers?
If they've got the panel space, I say "Go for it!"  Same with knobs;
if they want more of them than usually needed or desired, so what?
Could you design a PA with that many meters that didn't monitor the
same thing twice either directly or indirectly?

Yeah, I know it's a bit of overkill but, to be honest, even with my
rather advanced stage of pupuleness, I can't imagine how to even
begin!
