[Boatanchors] Heath IG-42 - More

I have an IG-42. The output from some of these older signal
generators can be quite low. I seem to recall that to be the case
with the IG-42: the maximum setting on the fine output control
had a fair amount of attenuation. Most of my frequency counters
will only work with this generator when set for maximum output
(and NO modulation, as noted by another poster).

Very handy generator, use it all the time when it takes too long
to get the URM-25/D onto the correct band, etc.
