[Boatanchors] RANGER LOW VOLTAGE CHOKE

Accompanied by some smell and smoke, the low-voltage choke in my Johnson
Ranger has bitten the dust. Does anyone know the specs on that choke other
than it is 15 h? I measure about 90ma draw in CW but presume that one could
add another 30ma or so when in phone. While I have lots of spare chokes,
most are either too physically large or have a current rating of about 100
ma. It would help to know what current it is supposed to handle so I can
attempt to locate a suitable replacement.

Failing that, is there a good used choke from a Ranger out there?

Bill, VE3NH
