It is still available over quite a range of stores. This even includes:

The entire "tin whisker" issue is biting the semi-conductor industry.
ICs are failing due to them. I do NOT know the end game effect on RoHS,
BUT, the pathetic results of water based flux and lead free solder is
costing more and more.
One place, AND reason, are plumbers trying to use it, and wasting
products before ever getting anything done.
