[Boatanchors] Ebay problems

I too feel the same way. In my case, it is the email side of things that
has me pulling my hair out most of the time.

I have my email client set up to move messages that come in to
individual folders based on criteria. The Subject or Sender generally
being the fields that I compare against. I watch a lot of auctions and
subscribe to some vendors emails and new item listings.

In eBay's case, They are constantly changing the sent from, Subject line
info or something else that then makes me go into the settings and add
yet another string to compare messages to... SIGH... It's become real
work :-)

As for the Paypal thing, I agree that since PP is an eBay company, it
would look like a monopolization attempt. But with that said, Paypal is
better in some cases to a money order. I can get a FULL refund
immediately from Paypal if I file a complaint. Bad at times for the
seller though.

The feedback situation is totally whacked though. Now sellers cannot
give negative feedback? What the heck is up with that? I have sold (or
attempted to sell) items to "problematic" users and have gotten bitten
in the a... well, you know...

I too see the demise of eBay as we know it. The mass produced Taiwanese
Junk and useless trinkety garbage that will some become the sole product
base sold there will be their undoing.

If you want to flame me, go ahead... That's why I have my email client
move messaged to folders like the trash. :-) J/K

73, cul...
