[Boatanchors] Ebay problems

Hi Dave,

As the old saying goes, "...to everything there is a time..."

I would venture to say that the bloom is now off of the eBay rose, and while
I agree that it's a GREAT venue to find & buy things not otherwise easily
located, the SELLERS of these collectable tidbits are only human, too ---
sooner or later they'll surely tire of all the B.S., and drop out as well...

Why couldn't eBay have simply left well enough alone? I noticed that in the
infrequent times that I'd want to sell something there, I had to go through
an entirely new learning process each & every time. It was frustrating, and
maddening, both. Why tamper with what works...?

My feeling is that things are NOT so rosey in eBay land anymore --- I
receive what seems like WEEKLY beseechments from them to take advantage of
"no fee" Canadian listing bargaining days, etc. etc. etc. I just treat such
appeals like so much junk mail, & simply delete them...my credit card info
with them expired in February, too, & I haven't bothered to re-register,
either.

I guess I'm just waiting for the next "big thing" to come along to replace
eBay, so that I might P & M about it! Hi Hi.
