Harold, you are one of very few in the E-bay world. I too bought and
sold on E-bay and for longer than you. I started in 98 and I have
finally canceled my account this past spring. I won't take my time to
tell you the whole story but it goes like this. Scams, scams, scams,
I've never been bit by a scam, but I've had to relist items. Last winter
I was selling my S-line station. It took me three months to finally sell
it. Because of many things such as E-bay rules. They pulled my ad once
because I said in the ad "No Pay Pal" Then two or three times people
would bid on the items then after the auction was over E-bay would
cancel the bids, saying that someones e-bay id was stolen and these were
false bids and on and on and on. E-bay has gotten to the point I feel
it's not usable. One last word. E-bay could care less about all this.
When I wrote to them about all the trouble they just send a pre canned
automated response filled with nothing. Then when I canceled my account
they care so less they don't even ask you why? can we do something to
help? nothing.
