First, good luck on the exam! 

I'd see what the luck of the draw is apt to get you. There is a website
somewhere that shows the most recently assigned sequential-system calls
for each area; I wish I could remember where it is. If there is a call
in the sequential system that you like, or a set of such, it's worth 
the gamble. 

Once you've got your new call, you can decide whether to go for a
vanity call or not.
