[Boatanchors] LED's instead of lamps in boatanchors???

Seems the Boatanchor server is not passing some of hte reply's? Only
seeing my own...hmmm...
I'd say roll your own LED lamp assembly's. The first one or few would be
interesting but after that you would get it figured out. An interesting
thing with LED's is you can get 'em with different brightness levels
from subtle to Wahoo. Different colors too, which could range from a
super white to a yellowing glow, a cool blue or green to a devils spit
red, or maybe orange or back to the yellow glow to replicate the
original incandescent lamp. Plus, on a rig with lots of lamps, you would
be taking away a ton of heat generated with those original lamps. LED's
run stone cold. Your series resistor sets the brightness from the max of
the device down to barely showing any light/color. You decide what suits
your eyeballs, not someone else deciding for you!!! Shhh, don't tell the
XYL I said that...hi hi...
