[Boatanchors] LED's instead of lamps in boatanchors???

LED's in a boatanchor? Heresy! A few centuries ago, 'dunking' would have 
been in order for a transgression of such magnitude.

I mounted about six of the yellow ones around the edge of the meter in a 
previously unlighted Yaesu VHF wattmeter and it worked well....but LED's in 
a boatanchor?  The shame of it all.....

OK, seriously, nice idea on diffusion using fine grit sandpaper...more proof 
of the superior ingenuity of BA list members.
