Believe it or not, they've been making LED replacement lamps for a
while, now. The 328 bulb used in the R-390A/75A-1/32V-* comes to mind.
Pricey little critters, though. Around $8 a pop IIRC. Not bad if you
only need one or two, but to swap out all ten in a 75A-1/32V....ouch!
The argument being, you'll never have to change them again. I seldom
change bulbs in any gear, maybe due to the little time I get to spend
enjoying the stuff.

It reminded me that anything can be considered a boatanchor for the
sake of convenience. I have an old microwave oven that's more of a
boatanchor than any ricebox ever produced. Hasn't been made for
decades. Maybe I can find parts for it here?  (o:
