Hi John,
According to info in Gene Rippen's "Tube Type Transmitter Guide",
there were several models of the TBS-50.
The first, just "TBS Bandmaster",
2nd "TBS-50, (about 1948) CW only, 807 final, 30-40w input",
3rd "TBS-50A (about 1948) CW & Phone version. 40 to 50 watts input on
phone (2) 6L6's p-p mod., carbon mic.",
4th "TBS-50B (about 1952) CW only",
5th "Bandmaster Senior TBS-50C (about 1952) CW & phone",
6th Bandmaster Deluxe TBS-50D (about 1952), 3-tube preamp" audio stage.
hope that will help you determine what you have. He doesn't mention paint
schemes.
