It may be the tube, or it may be something downstream. It's good to 
know that T2 probably is OK. I finally got a schematic, and think that
after you look at voltages, if you haven't got anything jumping out at
you, it would be good to look at C93A and B, the R22/R23 voltage 
divider, and maybe have someone else come over and look at the critter
with you to find wiring errors. I've looked right past wiring errors 
when I worked on my own gear, more times than I care to think about. 

I really hope you get this rig going, not only to relieve your evident
and justified frustration, but also because it's a wonderful piece of 
gear.
