Hi Barrie,
the TCP-1 / TCP-I, I have here is marked on the holder
24V, 2A. The same marking as my WTCPN soldering station
hand piece.
The TCP-I handle will fit DIL 24, SK 126-6-TCP, SK 137-6-TCP,
SK 180-7-TCP and SK 128-7-TCP. The last two are chisel type
tips respectively 7/8" and 3/8" wide, the first three are for
desoldering ic's (14,16 and 24 pins).
My TCP-I came from new with a tip holder / vacuum filter unit.
This tip holder can be fitted with the following tips:
DS 110 through DS 117.
A DSTCP desoldering adaptor can also be fitted to both the
TCP-I and WTCPN hand pieces. This adapter has a rubber bulb
to do the suction, handy if your pump should fail, or if you
want to work away from the bench and just bring the standard
soldering station.
Good luck
