I think what you're talking about is a "bug"

They're made out of bronze and sure enough, they're $250 a throw. The
other thing you might be talking about are the narrow clamps for tapping
a piece of Air-Dux, but why would you want to tap a coil at several
hundred places?
Once again, you're confusing us.
