[Boatanchors] coil tap

Hi all:

I am searching for a less expensive coil tap "clip" whose function is the 
same as those made & sold by B&W...they want $2.50 each...if I read it correctly.

Could use alligator clips...but I want a better and more secure 
attachment...esp since it will be exposed to outside weather elements.

It might need to be made from copper as a different metal alloys will cause 
galvanic action & metal corrosion.

Thought about a threaded copper stud having an elongated "slot" in the rod 
and then snug two copper nuts to the wire passing through the slot???...where to 
find it??

May need several hundred...maybe thousands...

Your suggestions always appreciated....as I'm stumped!
