hehe ... I remember it being incredibly fast compared to the ASR-33's we had 
used before that, and faster still than the Model 15 I had on my home 
computer at the time.  I had forgotten about the descenders.

It was real quiet compared to the Model 15, too.  Although I remember for 
one project I brought one home from work and set it in the living room on a 
wooden floor.  That motor resonated with the floor and created a hum through 
the whole house.  XYL just loved that!
