Not sure if this is applicable to DX-100, 'cuz I
don't know how similar the DX-100 is to the
Apache, but

An article in a mid 60s 73 magazine described
a mechanical instability in the Apache that was
solved by relocating one of the front panel braces.

My 73 collection is in deep storage right now, so
I can't look it up.
