[Boatanchors] Antenna tower problems

Yeah right......I have a 70' crank up and tilt over Tri-Ex with a large
owl on the top of the mast.
I thought the owl was really working until I noticed all the dead birds
with big grins at the bottom of the tower.
They all saw that stupid owl and laughed so hard that they lost grip on
the KT34 elements and fell to the cement patio.
So now I get to sweep up their dead asses and hose the bird poop off the
patio.
The next time I have to crank down the tower, the owl is going in the
trash with his friends.
Then, at least all I will have to do is hose off the patio.
Oh....forget the amp....I have one and I discovered it acts as a
laxative on the birds.
Nix the balloon too...... the patio was really bad....worse than ever,
the birds thought a party was going on so they called in their friends.
Ya can't win.

Bill: Try a high power amp. Seriously, while this may not work for
Eagles,
it works for pigeons. A balloon (helium) with big eyes drawn on it. It
has
to move around where they like to perch. --Mike, WV2ZOW

I am having to replace my 30 foot outdoor antenna because, and you ain't
gonna believe this, an Eagle has been perching on it and collapsed
several of the arms.
Does anybody have a cure for this?
