[Boatanchors] BC-1004 slipping dial

Phil,

Have you oiled (very lightly) or otherwise lubed the pivots and 
bearings of the variable cap itself and its pre-load gearing so that 
only a minimum of torque is required?

Have restored several SP-200 series.  Nice sets.
