Hello Al:

Nice to hear from ya.

Good advice on the headphone jack.
Last thing I did last night was swipe the contacts with my trusty endodontist files.
Then, I went to have my 'nightcap'.

I spent about 3 hours replacing 12 of the original Sprague wax paper caps.
Then, took a pause and put them to my capacitance meter to see how many were NG.

Zero.
ALL were right on for capacitance...0.1 mfd or 0.01 as per.

That's when I decided to leave the remaining 5 or 6 in there.

Did replace the electolytics.

Got the schematic from the bama mirror site.
What a great resource.

Need the manual for alignment etc like what the 'phasing' control phases?
Is that the same as the antenna tune control?

Have to say I'm weak on receiving fixuptechnology.
Better understanding the homebrew 813 amp I'm restoring.

Please consider me in "Receiver 102."

Regards,
Steve
