[Boatanchors] Test Equipment Recommendation

An old HP 410B VTVM. The AC probe is good to 700 mhz and these days they are going cheap. Make sure the AC section works. There is a small diode tube in the probe and a ballast tube in the unit that supplies the filament voltage to the probe, that go on these. On various reflectors, people have been asking high dollars for these units but I've seen them go unsold at flea mkts for less than $20.00. Even on ebay, they are dropping in price. I have 3 units and they are great!!
