[Boatanchors] Well, that got me banned immediately

If the recent discussion about the SX-115 on eBay violated the rules, the
rules need to be changed.

Seems like everyone is forgetting that the original post which included the
link was NOT from the seller, was NOT intended to make a profit, and was NOT
encouraging anyone to USE eBay. If fact, it was the opposite.

There was no attempt by the poster to profit in any way from posting the
eBay link.

If you can't discuss the occasional boatanchor on eBay that is "exceptional"
in some respect (price, rarity, etc.), then you are missing a large portion
of the boatanchors still in circulation.

The link here to the SX-115 on eBay needs to be put into context. You can't
have a discussion about something unless you are able to identify it, and
that's why the link was posted. In my opinion, that particular SX-115 was
worth discussing simply because of it's price, no matter where it was
offered for sale.

Remember, when you say "always" or "never," you are probably going to eat
those words someday.
