[Boatanchors] Knob inlay source

I've got a main tuning knob on a Hallicrafters SR-150 I'm restoring now that 
has lost its decorative aluminum inlay.  The inlay disk is 1.5 inches in 
diameter.  Anyone have a replacement knob?  Or a source for replacement knob 
inlays... or ideas for making one?

Seems like if I could find some very thin aluminum sheet I could cut one out 
- not sure how to do it without ending up with a hole in the middle (as would 
happen using a hole saw or circle cutter on drill press).
