Charlie Talbot makes these, I think his call is K3ICH? He's on the
Collins list and also on ebay. He makes replacement inlays for much of
the gear out there, from Collins to Alpha to Hallicrafters. I haven't
gotten any of the inlays from him yet (need to, though), but they look
first-rate and should be easy to replace. I think the Halli versions are
all of $3 for the large knob inlay. Just be sure to let him know the
radio and/or knob size as the knobs on the SR- line are slightly larger
than, say the SX-62A, SX-115, or others with the later, fluted knobs. If
yours is missing the inlay, half the work is already done for you - just
apply the new one.

Yuck - not to mention the lack of the nice swirly pattern. I bet a new
one will really spruce up the old rig. Just clean the old knob up
beforehand, so you don't end up with a doink mark in the new one.
