I've tried lots of ways to make a decent manual off Bama using the
.djvu's. Other's have stated problems also. I recently acquired a
Autek MK-1 keyer that was modified. I needed a manual. The only way I
can get a usable manual (not a good one), is the method you are probably
using. First I go into Bama and download ,then without changing any
settings, print all pages of the particular radio that is .djvu. Then
sticking each printed sheet in to my flatbed, I scan each at 300dpi.
Each image is then outlined and cropped using Paint Shop Pro 4.15.
Finally each image is printed right there in PSP. (You may have to
rotate the diagrams 90 degrees.) You don't get a quality print this
way, but you do have usable manual until something better comes along.
Any you guys get better handle on this .djvu thing, please let me know
your method. Thanks, Ron
