I actually have two of these flea market finds.
>From the replies, the CB-6 should still be a viable 6m front end.
Will try a 6ES8 in one of them for comparison.
I still have my 2m 6ES8 converter that I built in the sixties.
It was quite a performer for my 2m dx activities back then.
