Hi,

I have seen from time to time at hamfests and flea markets, a demonstration 
of aluminum solder. It comes in rods and the demonstration of repairs that 
can be made is very impressive. It might work well on aluminum capacitor cans 
as long as care is taken not to overheat the new innards.
