Yup John, I use the roller blade cutter, and yes, gently, gently---to avoid
deforming the soft aluminum case. I then use JB Weld epoxy to re-seal the
case. I also find that Nichicon makes very small HV caps that can be
paralleled to get the right value.

What type and size pipe cutter? The large one with the roller blade like you
cut 1 inch and larger diameter pipe with? you must have to GENTLY turn the
handle so the cutter so as not to bend the can of the capacitor. How do you
put the can back together? Do you use glue or epoxy or what??? Thanks, and
