Wayne, I think that Leo could answer some of those questions as he is
still around.
Al Shidler(sp) ran the crystal plant with Leo as a partner. There were a
few xtal mfgs
 around the Omaha area, one in Lincoln NE that I had visited several
times while in 
school there.
Bill Peterson was also there as Peterson Radio  dba PR xtals.
