[Boatanchors] Q-Multipiler HELP!

Hi Guys and Gals,

For a child of the vacuum tube/boatanchor era, I've got a question I
should not have to ask...

Just got my hands on a Heath HD-11 Q-Multiplier, without the manual.  I
always thought of this as an input-output device.  But, there is only
one connecting cable.  I pulled up info from the BAMA site.  All that's
available is the schematic, and shoo nuff there is only a single coax
connection to the receiver.

What does the connection go to?  Better yet, how does this gizmo work?
