All vintage gear of all flavors is always welcome -

Please drink a few extra cans of Mountain Dew, or cups of coffee with a few of
those caffeine tablets dissolved in them, and try to stay awake for the Saturday
October 5th 40 meter Net. The pre-Net will commence at 12:30 PM EDT, (1630 UTC).
The Net proper will begin at 1:00 PM EDT, (1700 UTC). The frequency will be
7.280 Mhz lsb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and the sound of joyfully juiced
Gerbils I slipped some stimulants to mixed in with their oatmeal and prune
juice. Not only are they humming the Disney tune "Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's Off To Work
We Go", they are spinning the little treadmill that goes into the gear reduction
box that turns the big 5 Kw generator so fast that the graphite greased ball
bearings are starting to issue forth little smoke clouds!

Bring a tale to tell, a rig to sell, a want, a wish, some technical tips to
serve up with silver solder dip for the hungry boat anchor buffet crowd, a
Hallicrafters question, your latest/greatest MW or SW catch or just show up and
smile a lot. But show up!

I hope to hear many of you tomorrow over the roar of this Gerbil driven turbine.
I hope they don't wear their little feet off running like this. Probably be
tough getting them little crutches.

P.S. Have any of you heard from WA9KXQ Sonny in Wisconsin over the past three
weeks?
