An available solvent for such is "Service Solvent" by GC Electronics
available from many electronics parts houses, get ours from MCM.
Cataloge number GC 10-312 for 2oz.  A little goes a long way, quite
expensive and want to use in well vented area. Has tolulene and other
"nasties".  I use just a dip from a small screw driver or allen wrench
on the top of screw.  Let set for few sec/min and it will loosen up the
stuff.

Have used it for 20+ years.  Some places you have to sign release to
purchase it.  It is NOT for general public!
