[Boatanchors] more detail needed, panoramic display

Thanks to all who responded to my question about panaromic displays. I 
understand the concept, I have a (gasp) Icom 756 PRO. However, quite a while 
ago, I just missed one on E-Pay that was connected to a 75A-4. 
Since I have a couple of scopes, I was wondering how I could adapt them to 
the radio's IF. The scope (unless I'm really (!) wrong, would show a sine 
wave of 455KhZ, not the time domain of the panoramic (positive pulses) 
display.
