We're now into the Public Service Events season. This is one of
the few times that hams interact directly, face to face, with the
non-ham gneneral population.

When you consider ham-related issues such as BPL, antenna
restrictions and others you can easily see that our ham community
needs all of the friends that it can get from among the general
public.

Hams volunteering for Public Service Events are also serving as
our goodwill ambassadors to the general public, who are also voters.

Please think about our need to expand our outreach to these
people and our need for their friendship and support.

What are your thoughts on this subject? How do you feel about
this outreach effort?
