Hello to all,
For those who have tried to listen to any HF signal whil on the computer, you know that it's pure misery- the computer's CPU and modem wipe out any AM signal from afar.  SSB signals do get through when conditions aren't optimal, and there are some SW broadcasters who choose that over AM.  One is the Department of Defense, and you can hear the Armed Forces Network at the frequencies below, gleaned from their web page.  SSB lacks the fidelidy of AM, and music really sounds strange, but it is something if you don't want to shut off your radio while on the web.  Also, you paid for it.
