Deep down, have you ever wanted to save the day with your Ham Radio? Seriously, have you ever daydreamed about pulling out your HT during a bank heist and calling the cops? Or maybe getting on HF during a hurricane and hearing a sailboat's call in distress that you relayed to the Coast Guard? What is your fantasy rescue?

For me, it is the HF story, but I imagine it with a captive group of people in Africa, getting on a small radio. They don't know how to operate it but put out a call for help. I call the US State Dept, but they don't believe me. So I call the FBI, who calls the Coast Guard, the Army, and finally reach a band of mercenaries who parachute in and rescue the captives.
