[Azham] LPFM, Broadcasting, Volunteer Opportunities?

At one time, my wife did some volunteer work reading
materials for the blind in a studio (years ago).

There are, in some areas, Pacifica stations which may
still utilize volunteers in some capacities.

There are, in some areas, small community-based stations
which are almost entirely volunteer based.

Free Radio Berkeley is looking for apprentices, for example,
but they are in the SF Bay area, obviously.

I don't know of anything like this or anybody involved in anything
like this in the Phoenix area?

I may have mentioned that a small group did get a LPFM license
in Prescott recently, but so far they have not indicated any interest
in volunteers.

I have worked with local Independent Media in photographing a
few times, but that isn't exactly what I'm thinking about right now
either.

Currently, Free Radio Berkeley is describing low-power TV, at
least on their web page. Are there low-budget UHF TV stations
which use volunteers?

If anybody has any leads about this kind of thing, please let me
know.

Thanks.
