Dean this is the cop out all city managers seem to think will work. In
a court they will loose big time. The real funny thing is I have seen
towers come down and all were guyed. I have seen a self supporting
fall. As for the permit, it is a red herring. Once in place they will
establish a fee based on time consumed by city staff to prepare the
permit and inspect the installation.
It needs to be fought all the way. Been there done that and 65 ft. is
the minimum I would settle at. Good luck on all, you have the
statistics in your corner, use them.
