I would say "If you don't recognize one these many organizations, then
don't contribute to it!"
Some of them are known to be reputable ... like the Salvation Army, some
of them may not be.
The information came from the "Emergencymail.Org" site which is also a
very well known national emergency organization which distributes local,
state and national emergency mail and information. Please take a look
at it <http://www.emergencyemail.org/> and see if you do not agree.
