Thanks all who put on a great Ada Hamfest this past weekend. Had a great time
and enjoyed the beautiful snow that day in Pontotoc County. About 30 Section
members attended the League forum. Discussed were the exciting activities of
clubs in Ada, Ardmore and Choctaw. Captain Daniel, President of the Ada ARC
advised of the neat public service being provided by his club. Kevin-N0IRW,
of the SOARES group in Ardmore, shared the excitement of his club. Their
effort in licensing classes continues in a vy positive manner. And, their
rapport with local served agencies is paying huge dividends in benefit to the
club. Thanks to Kevin for composing a made for television public service
announcement promoting licensing classes. The League forum attendees
recognized Zachary-KE5AAL for his becoming licensed at the youthful, but in
his instance mature age of 11. Great job Zachary!
