I do use ARRL.NET. The simple use of "[email protected]" should be used
such as on QRZ.COM as a single POC (point of contact) for individual
contacts. I applaud the ARRL for taking the stand to eliminate the
SPAM from my mailbox by not forwarding it.

As I have changed primary ISP servers twice in as many years, I favor
this service as it does provide valuable continuity. I no longer have
to change email address's posted. I just have to remember to change
my forwarding which is transparent to the person wanting to contact
me.

At least not for mailing lists. For a "catch-all" use where your real
address may change with some frequency and you want to provide a
stable
address, it is a very useful service. Again, common sense is the rule
of the day.
